SWAMP BT-12 – 12″ 300W RMS Passive Speaker
SWAMP has worked directly with the speaker manufacturer DE Acoustics to bring you the BT series. The BT-12 is a high performance two-way, full range passive loudspeaker. It utilises a 12″ bass woofer, high quality mylar HF driver and intelligent crossover, to deliver clear and powerful sound up to a 125dB max SPL. Comparable in build and sound quality to well known brands with models retailing above $400.

FOH or DJ Speaker
With foldback style flattened corner edges, this speaker can be used as a (passive) monitor / DJ speaker. The speaker stand hole also allows it to be mounted on any standard speaker stand to be used as a front of house PA speaker.

300W RMS / 600W Peak
Rated at an impressive 300W RMS (average power), a single BT-12 has the power to deliver clear, un-distorted sound for up to 120 people. Built to handle signals peaks of up to 600W.

Two In/Out Sockets
Like many passive speakers, the BT-series features dual in/out speaker sockets, meaning it can be used in series with a second passive speaker, allowing you to power multiple speakers from a single amplifier channel. Perfect for stage monitors and spacial coverage in a large room.

Type A or B
SWAMP offers the BT-12 in 2 different configurations. Type A and Type B are a mirror image of each other. When laying flat on the floor in a monitor position, type A has the woofer on the left while type B has the woofer on the right (when facing the speakers). When using as a pair of monitors, this gives a more balanced spatial distribution of high and low frequencies, making for a better on-stage sound and a better audio experience for a centred listener.
