The Baboon 6 is a pair of active studio monitors, featuring air motion transformer tweeters and special kevlar woofers. It is an ideal monitoring solution for tracking, mixing and mastering.  Clean transparency, amazing stereo depth, balanced frequencies. 

 

The Baboon 6 features a 4750mm² air motion transformer tweeter and a special 6.5“ kevlar weave woofer. The special tweeter allows for even further transparency and higher resolution in the high frequency range.  The Baboon 6 offers versatile application possibilities for near field monitoring, allowing for postioning quite close together however the stereo imaging is fabulous. The amplification power of the bi-amp-module is 60 watts for the low-frequency range and 30 watts for the high-frequency range. The frequency response from 50Hz to 30 kHz.

 

What’s on the Back?
There are balanced (Combo XLR/TRS Jack) and unbalanced (RCA) analog and S/PDIF digital input/output into each speaker. An input switch allows you to select which method of input you would like to use. There is also another switch for selecting whether the speaker is set to left or right in its position. There are also 3 pots, for volume, high and low freqency adjustment.
